Application of titanium base steel bonded gold in mine tools

Time : 2022-11-17 Hits : 52

Steel-bonded gold for mine tools is a new type of composite material prepared by powder metallurgy with high manganese steel as the bonding phase and refractory metal carbide -- titanium carbide (or tungsten carbide) as the hard phase. Its performance characteristics are as follows:

1Good weldability and castability. The steel bonded gold matrix is a type of high manganese steel, which exists in a single austenite phase at room temperature and has high strength, which is conducive to improving the thermal stress resistance during casting. It can be welded with ordinary high manganese steel electrode, and can also be connected with matrix by casting. It is simple to operate, easy to produce, and can reduce manufacturing cost and shorten production cycle.

2, high hardness and wear resistance. A large number of refractory metal carbides (titanium carbide) are dispersed in the steel bonded gold, which has high hardness. At the same time, the matrix is high manganese steel, which has the work hardening property, greatly improving the wear resistance of the product.

3, excellent cost performance. Compared with tungsten-cobalt hard alloy, the density of steel bonded gold is low (about 6.0g/cm3, 40% of tungsten-cobalt hard alloy), and has a good cost-performance advantage.

The unique properties of titanium - based steel - bonded gold constitute their own unique comprehensive performance advantages. This excellent comprehensive performance makes it in impact and crushing tools, mining, cement, construction and other industries have broad application prospects.

Mining tools and crushing hammer steel-bonded gold products are mainly used for crushing hammer nail and insert, mining tools, construction ball teeth and drilling teeth for roller cone drill, etc. By industry division, it is mainly used in cement, construction, oil and gas Wells and mines.
